South India Exotic Tour Package (18 Days/17 Nights)

Depart from home - Day 1

We will receive you at Madras.

Arrive at Madras - Day 2

When you arrive in Madras, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will stay overnight at Madras.

Madras to Kanchipuram to Mahabahlipuram to Trichy - Day 3

We will spend the entire day touring Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. In the evening we will travel by train to Trichy.

At Trichy - Day 4

In the morning we will arrive at Trichy. There will be a city tour in the afternoon. We will see Rock Fort, a Danish church and Lord Clive's house. We will also see an ancient Ganapati temple and a temple of Shiva.

Trichy to Madurai - Day 5

We drive to Madurai for four hours by road. At Madurai we visit the Meenakshi temple. After this we will visit the palace of Tirumala Nayak, the rock temple at Tripura, and Algar Hills. Then in the afternoon we will be free. We stay overnight at Madurai.

Madurai to Periyer - Day 6

After breakfast, we drive to the National Park at Periyer. We will enjoy an exciting boat ride on Periyer Lake. In the evening we shall visit "Kumily", a spice market. We will stay overnight in a resort at Thekkady.

Periyer to Cochin - Day 7

We travel to Cochin. We spend the night at Cochin.

At Cochin - Day 8

In the morning we go sightseeing in Cochin. We see Hindu temples, mosques and Portuguese churches. We also see one Jewish Synagogue. We stay overnight at Cochin.

Cochin to Bangalore to Mysore - Day 9

You take a flight to Bangalore. On arriving in Bangalore, you drive straight to Mysore. Overnight stay will be at Mysore.

At Mysore - Day 10

In the morning we go sightseeing in Mysore. We visit important places like the Maharaja's palace, an art gallery, the Chamundeshwari temple and Nadi Bull. In the afternoon we will be free. We stay overnight at Mysore.

Mysore to Halebid to Belur to Sravanbelgola - Day 11

We go to Halebid and Belur. We also pay a visit to Sravanbelgola.

Sravanbelgola to Hampi - Day 12

We will start our day with morning drive to Hampi. The once beautiful capital city of Vijayanagar Empire - greater than Rome, had palaces, temples & sculptures, spread all over. Some of the interesting ruins remaining are the Virupaksha Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Vithala Temple the famous Ganesha Temple and Hazara Rama temples, Lotus Mahal and many other temples dedicated to the various incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

Hampi to Pattadakal to Aihole to Badami - Day 13

We travel to Badami. On the way we visit Pattadakal and Aihole.

In Badami - Day 14

We tour Badami in the morning. Here we see Jain and Hindu temples dating back to the 6th C.

Badami to Goa - Day 15

In the morning we go to Goa. At Goa we will accommodate you at a budget hotel of your choice.

Goa to Delhi - Day 16

From Goa you will fly to Delhi. The day shall be free for you, till it is time for you to board your return flight. You will be transferred to the airport .

Delhi to Bombay - Day 17

You will be transferred to the aiport for your flight to Bombay. When you reach the domestic terminal of the airport you will be transferred to the main city. In the evening you will be transferred to the international airport.
